Akanzi ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you use Akanzi, where it is stored, and how it is used.
1. USING AKANZI WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
You can use most of Akanzi without creating an account or giving us any personal information. Discovering places, saving them to your personal list, and creating personal crews all work on your device alone.
An account is only required for shared crews, which sync data between members' phones.
2. DATA WE COLLECT
Location
We request access to your device's location while the app is in use. This is used solely to search for nearby places via the Google Places API. Your location is not stored on our servers.
Advertising Identifier (IDFA)
With your permission (via the App Tracking Transparency prompt), AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier to deliver personalised ads. If you decline, non-personalised ads are shown instead.
Data stored on your device
Personal crews, your personal saved list, and app preferences are stored locally using AsyncStorage. This data stays on your device and is not uploaded unless you use a shared crew.
Account data (optional)
If you create an account, we store your email address and an authentication record with Google Firebase Authentication. We never see or store your password — it is handled by Firebase. To limit an account to two devices, we also store a random ID for each device signed in to it.
Shared crew data (optional)
If you create or join a shared crew, the following is stored in Google Cloud Firestore so it can sync between members: the crew name, its invite code, the display name you chose, an anonymous account identifier, and the places saved to that crew (name, address, category, coordinates, rating and photo reference from Google Places). Other members of the same crew can see this data.
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Google Places API — used to search and display nearby places.
Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) — used for optional accounts and shared crews. Data is processed on Google's infrastructure.
Google AdMob — used to display ads.
All are subject to Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Apple — in-app purchases are processed by Apple. See apple.com/legal/privacy
4. DATA SHARING
We do not sell or trade your personal data. Data in a shared crew is visible to the other members of that crew. We do not share your data with anyone else beyond the service providers listed above.
5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Device data — uninstalling the app removes everything stored locally on your device.
Account and shared crew data — you can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your authentication record and your account document, and removes you from shared crews you belong to.
Please note: places you added to a shared crew may remain visible to that crew after you leave, because they form part of that crew's shared list. If you want them removed, delete them before leaving, or ask the crew owner.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Akanzi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. PURCHASES & SUBSCRIPTIONS
When you make an in-app purchase or subscribe to Akanzi Premium, payments are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment information, credit-card numbers, or Apple ID. Apple may share a transaction receipt with the app so we can unlock premium features on your device — this receipt is processed locally.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to request a copy of it. The in-app delete option covers the data we store. For anything else, contact us below.

The app requests your location to find nearby places. Core features will not function without it.
4. ADVERTISING
The app displays ads provided by Google AdMob. Ad content is subject to Google's advertising policies.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, design, and code within Akanzi is owned by its developers. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without permission.
6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

1. HESAPSIZ KULLANIM
Akanzi'nin büyük bölümünü hesap açmadan, bize hiçbir kişisel bilgi vermeden kullanabilirsin. Mekan keşfetmek, kişisel listene kaydetmek ve kişisel ekipler oluşturmak tamamen cihazında çalışır.

2. TOPLANAN VERİLER
Konum
Uygulama açıkken cihazının konumuna erişim isteriz. Bu yalnızca Google Places API ile yakındaki mekanları aramak için kullanılır. Konumun sunucularımızda saklanmaz.
Reklam Tanımlayıcı (IDFA)
İzin verirsen (App Tracking Transparency istemi ile), AdMob kişiselleştirilmiş reklam göstermek için cihazının reklam tanımlayıcısını toplayabilir. Reddedersen kişiselleştirilmemiş reklamlar gösterilir.
Cihazında saklanan veriler
Kişisel ekipler, kişisel kayıt listen ve uygulama tercihleri AsyncStorage ile cihazında saklanır. Paylaşımlı ekip kullanmadığın sürece bu veriler yüklenmez.
Hesap verileri (isteğe bağlı)
Hesap oluşturursan, e-posta adresini ve bir kimlik doğrulama kaydını Google Firebase Authentication ile saklarız. Şifreni asla görmez veya saklamayız — Firebase tarafından yönetilir. Bir hesabı iki cihazla sınırlamak için, hesaba giriş yapan her cihaz için rastgele bir kimlik de saklarız.
Paylaşımlı ekip verileri (isteğe bağlı)
Paylaşımlı ekip oluşturur veya katılırsan şunlar üyeler arasında senkronize olabilmesi için Google Cloud Firestore'da saklanır: ekip adı, davet kodu, seçtiğin görünen ad, anonim hesap tanımlayıcısı ve o ekibe kaydedilen mekanlar (Google Places'ten gelen ad, adres, kategori, koordinat, puan ve fotoğraf referansı). Aynı ekipteki diğer üyeler bu verileri görebilir.

4. VERİ PAYLAŞIMI
Kişisel verilerini satmaz veya takas etmeyiz. Paylaşımlı ekipteki veriler o ekibin diğer üyelerine görünür. Yukarıda listelenen hizmet sağlayıcılar dışında verilerini kimseyle paylaşmayız.
5. VERİ SAKLAMA VE SİLME
Cihaz verileri — uygulamayı kaldırmak cihazında yerel olarak saklanan her şeyi siler.
Hesap ve paylaşımlı ekip verileri — hesabını istediğin zaman Ayarlar → Hesap → Hesabı sil yolundan kalıcı olarak silebilirsin. Bu, kimlik doğrulama kaydını ve hesap belgeni siler, ayrıca üyesi olduğun paylaşımlı ekiplerden çıkarır.
Not: Paylaşımlı bir ekibe eklediğin mekanlar, o ekibin ortak listesinin parçası olduğu için sen ayrıldıktan sonra ekibe görünür kalabilir. Kaldırılmasını istiyorsan ayrılmadan önce sil ya da ekip sahibinden iste.
Silme talebini bizim yürütmemizi tercih edersen aşağıdaki adresten yaz.
6. ÇOCUKLARIN GİZLİLİĞİ
Akanzi 13 yaş altı çocuklara yönelik değildir. Bilerek çocuklardan veri toplamayız.
7. SATIN ALIMLAR VE ABONELİKLER
Uygulama içi satın alım veya Akanzi Premium aboneliği yaptığında ödemeler tamamen Apple tarafından işlenir. Ödeme bilgilerini, kredi kartı numaralarını veya Apple ID'ni toplamaz ve saklamayız. Apple, premium özellikleri açabilmemiz için uygulamayla bir işlem makbuzu paylaşabilir — bu makbuz cihazda işlenir.
8. HAKLARIN
Yaşadığın yere bağlı olarak, hakkında tuttuğumuz kişisel verilere erişme, bunları düzeltme veya silme ve bir kopyasını isteme hakkına sahip olabilirsin. Uygulama içi silme seçeneği sakladığımız verileri kapsar. Diğer talepler için bize yaz.

4. REKLAMCILIK
Uygulama, Google AdMob tarafından sağlanan reklamları gösterir. Reklam içeriği Google'ın reklam politikalarına tabidir.
5. FİKRİ MÜLKİYET
Akanzi içindeki tüm içerik, tasarım ve kod geliştiricilerine aittir. İzin almadan kopyalanamaz veya dağıtılamaz.
6. GARANTİ REDDİ
Uygulama herhangi bir garanti olmaksızın "olduğu gibi" sunulmaktadır.
7. SORUMLULUĞUN SINIRLANDIRILMASI
Yasaların izin verdiği azami ölçüde, dolaylı veya arızi zararlardan sorumlu değiliz.
